As a nation, so much have we endured Yet we are always resilient and reassured Wars, tsunami’s pandemics and more We stood through it all with hope at our core Now as nature descends with unforgiving force And its fury takes its ruthless course We rise once again in shared solidarity Our hearts teeming with unrelenting clarity No matter the differences in our beliefs We’re there for each other, providing relief It shows how truly selfless we can all be It’s truly inspiring for all who see Through trials and tribulations, we are united  In hope unyielding, we are never divided Our spirits shine though our darkest hours And we will see humanity’s true healing power We will rebuild and we will not falter Our shared path forward we will not alter Because no matter the punishment or crisis  We are Sri Lanka, a nation that rises

The evil plaguing our world is really overbearing money and power stops people from caring no law and order, just fear in our hearts and sadly, we have all played our parts We are to blame for the madness around we caused it, because we didn't make a sound they play us like we're pawns in a game and the fact that we let them, is a crying shame They murder, pillage and rob us all blind  and again we let them, it boggles the mind remember this land is belongs to every one  and its not just for one party or family to run They don't even realize they're committing treason, they just do things, without even reason lying, cheating and stealing for personal gain how has all this not driven us all insane?? What the hell is this country coming to? why are we turning a blind eye to the atrocities that keep happening? children are being abused and killed, women are being raped, murders all over the place, blatant disregard for human life on roads? is it just me or has Sri Lanka  'evolved' so much that human beings, have become unbelievably stupid? Let's begin with the number of road accidents that have been happening over the last month or so, all because of stupid drivers with no patience, because everyone has to be in such a damn hurry, that they don't realise other lives are in danger. The worst of the accidents thus far, involved two buses and a defender. Whoever was driving the defender, was on the wrong side of a singular white line and was speeding toward a blind bend.
