Everyone has something to say About the things, we do every day Everyone’s entitled to use their voice Whether we listen or not, is our choice People always try to cut us down But it’s up to us to swim or drown Like actions, even words can hurt Where it comes from, defines its worth Sometimes unexpected stones are cast And it’s clear some things aren’t meant to last But how important are the voices we hear? How much does it hurt when the truth is clear? Don't listen to irrational and idle chatter Think about whose opinion really matters If it questions the foundations of loyalty and trust Then weighing the pros and cons is a must So before all of it gets in your head Just ask yourself, who said?

On our family, loved ones and friends We only see the good in them all And hope they’ll catch us when we fall We blindly put our hearts in their hands Regardless of where they stand But sometimes that trust is misplaced And we end up in a really dark place Trust is hard to rebuild when it’s broken Especially when no words are spoken It leaves our hearts broken and tattered Making us feel like we never really mattered But that’s life and not everyone stays And we still open our hearts every day Because nobody wants to live life alone And even if it’ just a voice on the phone We need someone to talk to and to listen Because our own minds can feel like prison It's the people that stay that are an absolute godsend They truly care and will be there till the end But still, for all, it would be naive  To think that even they won't leave But it's not wrong to trust or open our hearts Because we never know what it may start? It's amazing how life actually works and how people you trust, become jerks life's not meant to be easy, that's for sure and people's cruelty sure as hell has no cure It's sad fact of life that people come and go we fulfill a purpose till we aren't needed anymore loss is the hardest thing to deal with in our hearts however they leave us, we're always torn apart The pain that some ignore is all too real and it takes a long time for some souls to heal people see it as weak and just ignore the yelp not realising at all that it's all a cry for help Unfortunately that's just how people are all they do is pretend that they care they use, abuse, manipulate and ditch and they're the ones that always end up rich And yet, we still go to enormous lengths to help with every ounce of our strength even then they all walk away like we're rotten and all the good we've done, is simply forgotten
