Our emotional outlets are very important Particularly when feelings lie dormant We do what helps us get through the worst And to make sure that our emotions don't burst We all have different mechanisms to cope When life gets hard and we feel there's no hope Sometimes outlets unintentionally hurt people too Thing is, we don't always believe it, but it's true And then we're forced to look for another way out Cos we don't want to hurt anyone we care about People frown upon public display of emotion It's said to be weak, and ends in social demotion This defines the world we live in now Judgement is passed on everything, and how We must choose our outlets very carefully And do the best we can to ignore all the bullies Outlets are paramount for finding inner peace To constructively help us put our minds at ease Not to hurt anyone and make situations worse So again choose wisely and get through the strife Cos at the end of the day, we only get ...

What happened to romance? it's so rare these days It's like it only exists in books, TV, movies and plays Doesn't anyone believe in real love anymore? Or is it that people are too selfish to let it show? Respect, a word that is seldom used anymore It should be practiced by all and not just for show The world would be different if we just respected each other It seems all we know now is to insult and hurt one another It really doesn’t matter who, what or why? It's inhuman to make fun of those who suffer or die? Acceptance and tolerance it’s all the same The fact that we can sink this low, is a shame Internet comics and trolls think they're so bold In truth they’re insensitive, and their hearts are ice cold Humor maybe relative, but it can cut like a knife Who ever said that a joke, couldn’t take a life? We see it over and over and we do nothing at all The hateful and offensive ideals all over our walls Hundreds, thousands even millions already suffer Life is already tough, so why make it tougher? We humans are experts at blaming each other And we do it, even if it means hurting another We never take responsibility for our own actions do we? We’re blind to it for some reason and this just cannot be  We blame others for things like racism, rape and wars When we see others suffer, we start moving our jaws We punish those who do wrong without trying to teach them right And then we go on and on about some self-righteous fight  We blame nations for arming rebels and creating unjust ways Thing is, we could’ve stopped it, but we let it happen anyway We blame a whole race and religion for terrorism without cause And then voice our opinions without knowing what’s true or false We protest immigrants for coming over and ‘taking our jobs’ They aren’t you enemy and this ignorance must stop Imagine if we worked to together and kept moving forward But alas we fall prey to propaganda and the words of a coward  We fight for equality amongst...
