Life is so fickle, it passes by so fast There’s barely any time for us to think And it’s too late when we realize that we won’t last Cos the ship has already begun to sink We take so much for granted And we leave so much behind Growing up there was much we wanted Ambitions and dreams all blind As adults we often can’t find the time To remember those dreams we had Now we slave for every nickel and dime And we will till it drives us mad We have to make use of the time we get Because when it ends, nobody can say Give your life meaning before those gates are met And no barriers will get in your way So make the most of the life that you’re given And be mindful of your every thought Live, love, be loved and be driven For our time on this is earth is short
