There's so much that goes unsaid so much unresolved and not put to bed and when we finally say it, it's too late the universe has already decided our fate If only we could all be so bold and say those things that go untold express the feelings hidden deep within and maybe we'll see something new begin We don't realise how much we suppress or the power of the words we don't express words like 'I'm sorry' and 'I'm miss you' get lost and we don't know what hiding them actually costs It's too late when we actually find out, we curse and moan that we didn't shout don't let anyone perceive you as weak just because you were afraid and didn't speak Be it joy, frustration, love or even anger use words wisely or you'll end up a stranger it's human nature that we don't want to get hurt but there's always a risk of ending up in the dirt Most times our actions speak louder than words we believ...

We’re all allowed to speak our minds But should we if we’re being unkind? Who are we to step on another’s beliefs, And unnecessarily cause people grief? Our words alone can have a terrible effect When we don’t think of who they’ll affect We just say and do things without remorse Ignorant to the harm it may actually cause Some use opinions to spread hate and pain Deliberately hurting people for personal gain They prey on peoples lifestyles and choices without realizing the power of their voices  Having an opinion is a true god given right And when we express it we often lose sight Of the responsibility we have for word and actions And that we must accept people’s reactions One of our saddest truths despite everything Is that we forget that we’re all human beings We don’t have to step on another’s dominion We can live and let live but then that’s my opinion

Words, one of the most powerful forces on earth They can bring happiness and they can also hurt We take them for granted, we don’t really think That the things we say can leave us on the brink Words start wars and destroy without warning Spreading hatred and sending armies storming At the same time they can spread love and peace Bringing war to an end so that suffering will cease Words can tell stories both of fact and of fiction From poetry to music and other forms of diction They bring to light all your most intimate feelings Like a promise of affection that’ll leave you reeling Words can offend and break peoples hearts at will Destroying a person’s spirit with the pain they instil They can bully, shame and bring fear to peoples minds And turn a weakened soul in to one that’s unkind Words can also motivate, strengthen and inspire And bring to life all your inner most desires They can give a broken spirit a new outlook on life The right ...

We’ve all heard it all before, “You’re just not good enough” “You’re not qualified enough” “You’re not skilled enough” "You're not good looking enough" "You're not fit enough" For that girl, boy or that promotion For that sports team or for that degree These words are so powerful they ruin us When in reality they should inspire They should fuel the fire in our hearts “What do I have to do to get there?” The simple answer is believe in yourself Because only you can fight the pain Only you can keep pushing through And only you can prove to yourself That you truly are good enough
