Intimidating, sad, unhappy and moody scary, a loner, depressing and broody melancholy, angry, stupid and lazy a doormat, unlucky, fat, slow and ugly On the flip side, gentle, charming and funny a real nice guy, stoic, warm and fuzzy an em-path, a listener and a loving friend a teddy bear, caring and loyal till the end Now, before you cringe at the words you see these are words people use to describe me It's like I'm two people, polar opposites at that but there is only one of me and that's a fact Most times now people only see me frown because of heavy thoughts that weigh me down people think I'm scary and don't really approach and some think my heart is too easy to poach Some people think  I'm obsessed with my past that I let it control me and that I'm being daft it's funny to me how things can be assumed but I guess I cant let myself get consumed See, I've made mistakes like anyone would and I've paid my dues l...

People come and go in life That's a God given fact  Some stay forever, some don't  That's just how life goes  We create bonds with some Bonds that are stronger than others  We open our hearts to them  In the hopes that it lasts forever  We're there for them at a call Spilling blood, sweat and tears  We support them through the worst  In the hopes they'll do the same  This isn't always the case though  Sometimes they don't feel the same  and in the end the leave us behind  And it's hard seeing them with others  That's just how this world works  We depend on people without fear Ultimately we lose them,  And we feel like we've been replaced  In the end, regardless of friends or family  Nothing lasts forever and we must accept it  At the end of it all, we only have ourselves  Because as it happens, we can all be replaced 

Life is so fickle, it passes by so fast There’s barely any time for us to think And it’s too late when we realize that we won’t last Cos the ship has already begun to sink We take so much for granted And we leave so much behind Growing up there was much we wanted Ambitions and dreams all blind As adults we often can’t find the time To remember those dreams we had Now we slave for every nickel and dime And we will till it drives us mad We have to make use of the time we get Because when it ends, nobody can say Give your life meaning before those gates are met And no barriers will get in your way So make the most of the life that you’re given And be mindful of your every thought Live, love, be loved and be driven For our time on this is earth is short

We humans are experts at blaming each other And we do it, even if it means hurting another We never take responsibility for our own actions do we? We’re blind to it for some reason and this just cannot be  We blame others for things like racism, rape and wars When we see others suffer, we start moving our jaws We punish those who do wrong without trying to teach them right And then we go on and on about some self-righteous fight  We blame nations for arming rebels and creating unjust ways Thing is, we could’ve stopped it, but we let it happen anyway We blame a whole race and religion for terrorism without cause And then voice our opinions without knowing what’s true or false We protest immigrants for coming over and ‘taking our jobs’ They aren’t you enemy and this ignorance must stop Imagine if we worked to together and kept moving forward But alas we fall prey to propaganda and the words of a coward  We fight for equality amongst...

How did humanity manage to stray so far? Why can’t we understand that one simple truth? That we are all human, same skin, bone and hair To change this world, we need to start with the youth We have politicians who live to turn things sour They curse and destroy peoples lives at will They're driven by greed, money and power If only they worked for the people and not make them ill Then, we have terrorists who kill in the name of god Driven by the propaganda of an unjust hatred Complemented by racists and supremacists whose leaders are all frauds They need to be taught right & wrong before they end up dead There are also those who call themselves men in vain Rapists, abusers, thieves and murderers just to name a few On the underwear of humanity, these people are a stain The saddest part of all this, is that its nothing new Is this really the world we should proudly call home? This world is full of narrow minded individuals, we humans judge each other so much its almost ritual acceptance in abundance that the world needs hate only grows from many misguided seeds So what if someone believes in something? there should be no room for all this grumbling its not anyone's place to disagree with that to each their own, that's a saddest of all facts Everyone has a right to choose their own dues why does it matter if someone looks different than you? or even if he or she follows another religion? so what if man loves a man or a woman loves a woman There's so many people who talk about saving the earth hate is taught to people, it's not something we inherit at birth save the trees, the animals, but it's all talk with no action lets begin with the people, maybe that'll start that needed chain reaction All this war, the senseless killing and suffering around us all because some idiot somewhere decided to make a fuss MJ said...
