Happily Ever After
It's what we all look for in life To be happy and free of strife While some have it pretty easy Others struggle and become needy It brings balance, yet it's not fair That some succeed with out a care It's hard watching through envious eyes Looking on at those who never really cry In a world where romance is dead We lay here all alone in our bed Wondering "what if that was me?" The perfect child with no ugly to see We blame ourselves for all our faults hurting instead of locking them in vaults In the end, we all want the same thing To be happy and enjoy what life brings To be with both family and friends Who love you and are with you till the end To live a life of mostly joy and laugther Would be nothing short of happily ever after
