The Enchantress

One little glimpse is all it takes,
a simple glance and your whole world shakes
so graceful and kind, anyone can see
her beauty's so rare, it'll make you weak at the knees

One look at her and you're under her spell
even for someone who knows her so well
a personality so alluring, with a captivating smile, 
any man would be mesmerized, for much more than a while

The Enchantress, so beautiful like a fairy tale
a simple 'hello' and your face goes pale
from her voice so sweet, her hair so charming
her hands so soft and her eyes so absorbing

She is the object of many hearts desire,
and to win her heart, you'd walk through fire
if anyone manages to love this angel without wings
one can only imagine the joy that it would bring

To be held in her warm, loving embrace,
To be loved by and wake up to her smiling face 
one touch of her lips and you float almost lifeless

I’ve always tried to be a good person, To be helpful, caring and kind, To be genuine with no real reason But apparently I’m arrogant and blind Is it wrong to believe there is good in our hearts? Why do we only cry behind closed doors? Has nobody ever cried in public before? We’re human beings after all, that’s a fact So why can’t we behave with a little tact?
